Weekend

It's not just any weekend it's the long weekend , thankyou to the Queen. One extra day of catching up on my Beauty Sleep. This weekend I'm going to the Central Coast where hopefully it will be alot warmer but i'm not counting on the weather to be any better. So I've layered up and I am quite warm. This is my outfit I have put together, sorry that the pictures not too clear, I couldn't find my good camera so hopefully you can see.

No Not Batman...

I'm talking capes, no not the ones that you tie around your neck and run around the room pretending you can fly... who doesn't wish they could have powers. Anyway i'm talking about the trend of the minute capes.They are great to wear every where and anywhere and have been seen worn by celebrities and on the catwalk.They flow around your body while keeping you warm and make you look slimmer.

MinkPink $54 this would look great buttoned up with a pair of jeans and high heels(or wedges) or opened with a statement tank and jeans.



Mink Pink "Staple" $70 This shirt doubles as a cape or a normal shirt.Silk trousers or shorts would go with this perfectly or for the chiller months just the trousers or jeans.

Mid-Year Sales

It's mid-year sales once again and the craze has already started, shoppers have got to there feet and have started looking for bargains and this time there are some even more amazing bargains than last year.Although the Australian Dollar is strong, don't go past the thought of going shopping around the stores. I'm not  sure if any of these stores ship internationally, but just head to the sites and it will have information about shipping. At Just Jeans they have 25% of new and already reduced prices, starting as low as $14.95. At Myer there aiming for the biggest sale this year and the sale is on now. At Wittner if your in need of a new pair of shoes *Arent we always* then go to Wittner because they have a 50% off sale. At style society they have 30% off everthing until the 16th of June. Equip has a $5 and under sale on chosen items, One Teaspoon is having a sale at Surry Hills  and Westfield Sydney only from the 9th-30th June. And at Sportsgirl and General Pants they are having a sale on now for a limited time only, until stocks last.

Winter

It's the start of winter and i've already started to feel it. Getting minor colds and not being able to feel my toes. I have to wake up pretty early to go to school and as soon as I walk outside i'm wishing for a snuggie, hot chocolate and a heater. I think it has to be one of the coldest winters by far. But although I don't like the feeling of not feeling anything, in the fashion world winter is about ... LAYERING. The mid year sales have started and all winter clothes are quite cheap. But if you don't have money like me to spend  at high end shops i have listed some cheap alternatives at some of my favourites stores. Dotti, Cotton On, Valley Girl and Factorie...check them out.
