BE DIFFERENT

Being different isnt a bad thing, most of the time people treat different people as an outcast especially teenagers. If a girl is wearing last seasons trends they get picked on and that isnt far. Fashion trends arent there to follow they are there to help us. I love it when someone wears something unique and different.
As coco chanel said "To be irreplaceable you must be different". So a message for everyone out there... BE DIFFERENT.

Dresses... Winter???

It is possible!!! Usually when winter comes people tend to put there skirts and dresses in a bag at the back of there closet, never to be seen again until the sun comes out and the air is warm but... this winter no clothing item is going to be left out and never seen for 3 months. Here are some tips on how to wear dresses/skirts in winter but still be warm.

1. Tights/Stockings- These are a great idea if you want to show off your legs but still be warm. I would wear these with ankle boots (High Heel/flats).

2. Trench Coat- A trench coat keeps you warm and is a big trend this season.

3. Colour- A great way to add colour to any wardrobe is through a bright,big,warm scarf. ( I have a whole closet of just scarfs) They are great for winter and summer and keep your neck warm and makes your outfit... well not...dull.Oh and dont forget scarfs are really affordable.

4. Maxi- A maxi dress is perfect for winter it makes you look 2x as tall and blocks off all of the cold air.

5. Short- When wearing short dresses try wearing over the knee boots with longs socks or stockings.

                                                       *Boots Tip*
The taller you are the higher the boot. I think for tall people over the knee boots
would suit better and for the shorter people ankle boots.

OOTD

This is just a quick outfit post. Although the mornings and nights have been chilly like *OMG i cant feel my toes* Through the day it has been quite warm, so i can bring out my shorts and hang up my coats for a while.

I love this Statement necklace it was a bargain and when the days aren't so cold instead of a scarf add a statement necklace to add colour to your outfit.

HP Part 2 (The End)

Ok, so i know this blog  is supposed to be all about fashion... well it is in a way but first lets talk about Harry Potter and the deathly Hallows Part 2 ( Sadly the end). I've never considered myself to be a big Harry Potter fan, i do love there movies but i'm not swept off my feet by it. However i have to admit usually the first movie of any series of movies is the best by far but the last Harry Potter has got to be the best movie i've seen in months. There was so much action and romance..Finally Ron and Hermione kiss, just lucky i didnt see it in 3D (I admit i jumped in my seat a couple of times). At the end, the room was full of clapping except me :( i don't know what but people clapping in a movie makes me feel uncomfortable. But the end of my statement is i love the Harry Potter movies.

Now onto the fashion side of it all. I went shopping and i'm suprised to see how much of the clothes have changed from winter to summer. I saw alot of mini skirts and singlets. Colour is big this season i guess people have started to hate the fact that many people just wear dull and neutral colour, lets face it we all do. But  colour is slowing finding its way back into everyones wardrobes. Here are some bright photos that made be happy and excited to wear colour.





   




So next time your about to purchase a pair of black skinny jeans think again and swap them for a pair of hot pink ones instead and have a bright winter. Bright Tip- If you slowly start to add colour to your wardrobe you'll get more used to it and be able to wear it more often.

When is fake good?

The word fake isn't one i use very often, theres just something about it that makes me shiver. But in some sense fake is good... no i dont mean plastic surgery or acting as someone different then who you are, i'm talking about FUR in particular. To have real fur coats it takes away more than just one animals life, thanx to campaigns like PETA (People for the ethical treatment of animals) they are against killing animals especially for the purpose to make a coat.

Celebrities like Lara Bingle has caught the eye of many people against real fur clothes.She has been wearing the collection from The row's autumn range which is made from animals like crocodiles, foxes and minks. I am against real fur and i think it should stay where it belongs on the animals. If somebody does wear real fur im not going to hate them, i just think they should think about the pain the animals had to go through to make one piece of clothing.

Bargain Hunting

HELLO..... Yes i'm still here.I know i haven't posted here in a while but with my internet not working and half yearly tests to study for, you don't really have time to write on here. But now school is out for the holidays * Sigh of Relief * i have much more spare time on my hands to write on my blog.

So aside from stacks of homework and chores i had a little spare to go shopping. So with the year zooming straight past me and having no time or money to buy expensive trends i decided to stick with bargain shopping. At the moment with half yearly sales and summer and winter mark downs what a better way to spend the weekend than shopping.
